From the first rays of sunlight over the Sơn Trà Peninsula to the vibrant wildlife emerging after dark in Hội An, every moment revealed a completely different perspective on the art of wildlife photography.
Nikon Vietnam, by VHG - the authorized distributor of Nikon products in Vietnam - believes that a photography journey should offer far more than the opportunity to capture remarkable images. About Photography Trip 2026
Recently, VHG, the authorized distributor of Nikon products in Vietnam, together with Nikon Vietnam and the Nikonian community, concluded Photography Trip 2026: From Dawn to Darkness, a nearly 17-hour journey into the wild where participants not only captured remarkable wildlife moments but also learned the importance of patience, observation, and visual storytelling.
Accompanied by wildlife photographer Mr.Sam Thuong and the experienced team from Next Continent, participants explored some of Central Vietnam's most distinctive ecosystems. From tracking the endangered Red-shanked Douc Langur on the Son Tra Peninsula and photographing birdlife in the Hoi An wetlands to capturing the golden sunset at Cam Kim and venturing into the night for a herping experience, each stop presented new challenges in lighting, observation, and photographic technique.
Hands-On Experience with the Nikon Z Series
Throughout the trip, participants had the opportunity to experience the Nikon Z Series ecosystem in a wide range of real-world shooting environments, from the soft light of sunrise and dense forest landscapes to the demanding conditions of wildlife photography after dark.
Beyond exploring the capabilities of Nikon equipment, the experience also brought together a passionate community of photographers, creating a valuable space to exchange knowledge, share field experiences, and learn from one another while working in authentic outdoor conditions.
